SUBMITTING A PROJECT

To submit a project for consideration just email me a picture in jpeg format to editor@thestrokingedge.com.

• Please do not send me pictures of everything you painted. 
• Try to stick with the upcoming themes.
• Send a close up of the painting and a picture of the whole project, only. 
• Do not send me a picture of every angle or pictures with a lot of accessories around.

From there the picture will be reviewed by our selection committee for the upcoming issues.  If selected as a Featured project or for use in the Gallery you will be notified and given further instructions.  We are a small company so time is not available to respond to every submission received. 

• Keep the project. We might ask you to send the project to us so that we can photograph it. 
• We will mail it back to you when we have finished with it.  Or you can request us to include it in our silent auction to benefit the Maria Dewberry Children's Foundation.
• Project must be YOUR original design.  Not a rendition of a design from another artist.

Upon acceptance for a Featured project you will be asked to paint a worksheet, trace a pattern of the design, write step-by-step instructions including a biography of you, also provide us a picture of yourself. You might be asked to mail the actual project to us.  Copies of worksheets from any of Donna's books or other printed matter will not be accepted. 

If accepted to the Gallery you will be asked for a paragraph of what inspired the project or how One Stroke has affected your life.

Besides Featured projects and Gallery projects I need success stories.  Come ON !!  Toot your horn!  Tell me what you have done with One Stroke!  Accompanying pictures are great additions.
